| Bright lightish violet red colour. Very spicy, baked apple-plum nose with some spicy notes. Slightly off dry, medium-light bodied, very spicy, tangy, candied red apple peel flavours with a very crisp, somewhat short finish. No detour here - this Vintages “Local Find” is best avoided - it’s definitely not soft or silky! Has 12.5% alcohol and 8 g/L residual sugar. Better than the terrible 2015 (*) with 83-points that was released on June 10, 2017 at $17.95. |

| TASTING NOTE: There are few wines more food-friendly than Gamay, which is something that Vieni, whose name in Italian is an invitation and a warm welcome, fully appreciates.
