Extremely deep intense purple colour. Slightly spicy, bright, ripe plum-cherry puree nose with some cedary notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, extracty, harmonious, intense, cedary, rich, spicy, fairly intense, ripe cherry-plum flavours with a lingering, crisp, faintly savoury finish. This blend of 90% Malbec and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon has 15.1% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L18-003-303 on the back label. TASTING NOTE: Named after Sebastián Zuccardi's father, José, this is a first release under this label, marrying Malbec with 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, both grown on limestone soils. Deeply coloured and showing more wood influence than most of the winery's reds, it's rich, structured and complex with notes of white pepper, blackberry and liquorice. Drink Date: 2018-2025.
