Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |
Producer |
TEHO |
Extremely deep intense purple colour. Slightly spicy, intense, somewhat peppery, stewed plum nose with some cedary, faintly bitter, burnt-toast, mocha-chocolate notes. Dry, medium bodied, quite well structured, slightly spicy, baked plum-cherry-apple flavours with a lingering, fairly dense, high acid finish. Has 13.5% alcohol and 3 g/L residual sugar with lot number 18015 on the back label. Unfortunately, the second bottle was corked. |

TASTING NOTE: This is a wonderfully concentrated, co-fermented blend of Malbec with 7% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot. Inky, rich and enticingly perfumed, it has layer upon layer of wild herb complexity and succulent dark berry fruit framed by subtle vanilla oak. Drink Date: 2018-2028. Score - 96 (Tim Atkin, MW, timatkin.com, Argentina Special Report 2017) |
