Extremely deep intense purple colour. Slightly spicy, intense, somewhat peppery, stewed plum nose with some cedary, faintly bitter, burnt-toast, mocha-chocolate notes. Dry, medium bodied, quite well structured, slightly spicy, baked plum-cherry-apple flavours with a lingering, fairly dense, high acid finish. Has 13.5% alcohol and 3 g/L residual sugar with lot number 18015 on the back label. Unfortunately, the second bottle was corked. CSPC 441691
