Extremely deep intense purple colour. Spicy, fairly classy, ripe, plum-cherry nose with some cedary notes. Dry, medium bodied, slightly spicy, somewhat peppery, intense, cassis, red apple-plum flavours with a lingering, sandalwood-tinged, harmonious, fairly savoury finish. Quite ready-to-drink. Has 14% alcohol and 3 g/L residual sugar with lot number L04718 on the back label. TASTING NOTE: Beautiful floral and berry character with hints of violets. Full body, firm and silky tannins and a vivid finish. This is an energetic young wine with a bright acid balance.
