| Extremely deep intense purple colour. Spicy, fairly classy, ripe, plum-cherry nose with some cedary notes. Dry, medium bodied, slightly spicy, somewhat peppery, intense, cassis, red apple-plum flavours with a lingering, sandalwood-tinged, harmonious, fairly savoury finish. Quite ready-to-drink. Has 14% alcohol and 3 g/L residual sugar with lot number L04718 on the back label. TONY ASPLER / 89-points / BEST BUY - Cedary, struck-flint and barnyard nose of blackberries and tobacco leaf; medium to full-bodied, dry, fruity blackberry flavour with lively acidity and a firm finish. |
