| Extremely deep intense purple colour. Intense, complex, slightly spicy, ripe plum nose with some cedary-herbal notes. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, well structured, slightly hot, ripe plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, crisp, sandalwood-tinged, faint mocha-chocolate finish. Tasted once - seems quite youthful. Has 14.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L16L14 09/02/18 on the back label. TONY ASPLER / 89-points / BEST BUY - Minerally, blackcurrant nose with smoky oak notes; medium-bodied, dry, elegant, blackcurrant flavour; well-balanced with fresh acidity and ripe tannins. The recommended 2014 (**/**+) was released on January 21, 2017 at $19.95. |

| TASTING NOTE: Plum liqueur, redcurrants, crushed stones, oyster shell, creme de cassis, some subtle resin, roasted herbs and pepper. This is so polished and focused on the palate with tightly wound but generous tannins, a vibrant line of acidity and a long, chewy finish. Drink in 2021.
