RESERVA MALBEC 2016 Uco Valley, Mendoza |
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |
Producer |
DE POTRERO |
Extremely deep intense purple colour. Spicy, baked plum-cherry nose with some earthy, sandalwood-tinged, rubber hose notes. Dry, medium bodied, quite well structured, spicy, harmonious, earthy (bacterial-tinged?) flavours with a lingering finish. Has 14.5% alcohol and 3 g/L residual sugar with lot number B-73432 on the back label. Beware, the second bottle was loaded with cork taint. I was not available to go to the lab and pay for parking for a third time to taste this one wine again. |
