BRUT CRÉMANT DE BORDEAUX Traditional method, AP, Bordeaux, France
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer LOUIS ESCHENAUER
Pale straw colour. Very attractive, toasty, ripe lemon meringue nose with some spicy mineral notes. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, well structured albeit quite elegant, slightly spicy, tangy, ripe lemon meringue flavours with a lingering, high acid, gently complex, somewhat toasty finish. Has very good effervescence. If you like Champagne, you will love this Bordeaux Brut! A remarkable blend of 70% Sémillon and 30% Cabernet Franc with 12% alcohol and 14 g/L residual sugar with lot number L80524M02 on the capsule. TONY ASPLER / 90-points / BEST BUY - Toasty, faintly honeyed, dried ripe apple peel bouquet; medium-bodied, dry, remarkably elegant for the price - a ringer for Champagne. CSPC 543108

A Best Buy
TASTING NOTE: A blend of 70% Sémillon and 30% Cabernet Franc from a producer that dates back to 1821. This superb value is delightfully toasty with nice apple and stone fruit tones and a refined mineral underbelly that really holds the attention. Zesty and crisp, it's perfect for starters or with seafood. (Vintages panel, July 2017) Price $ 16.95
