Extremely deep intense purple colour. Spicy, intense, ripe plum-warm black cherry puree nose with some sandalwood-cedar notes. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, well structured, intense, slightly spicy, ripe plum-cherry puree flavours with a lingering, fairly high acid, gently cedary, mocha-chocolate-tinged finish. Has 14.5% alcohol and 5 g/L residual sugar with lot number L-150618 on the back label. CSPC 575290

TASTING NOTE: This Malbec was grown in a vineyard at a breathtaking altitude of 2,700 metres - that's the height of five CN Towers stacked on top of one another! It's impressively concentrated and structured, with suggestions of ripe dark fruit and berry preserves wrapped in silky tannins. Pour it with grilled beef tenderloin and garlicky mashed potatoes.
