Deep intense purple colour. Spicy, faintly leesy, gently baked ripe plum nose with some mocha-chocolate notes. Dry, medium bodied, somewhat tart, dried plum-apple flavours with a high-acid, faintly bitter finish. Has 13% alcohol and 7 g/L residual sugar with lot number L380918-3 2018/06/29 on the back label. TASTING NOTE: If you're a fan of Mendoza Malbec but haven't yet discovered that region's Cabernets, quit horsing around and try this Polo Professional Cab from renowned Uco Valley producer - and fave of Jancis Robinson, MW - La Chamiza. The wine was aged in French oak barrels for six months. It's a dramatic, oak-shaded Cab showing blackberry, currants and juicy acidity. Pour with lamb burgers.
