TASTING NOTE: If you're a fan of Mendoza Malbec but haven't yet discovered that region's Cabernets, quit horsing around and try this Polo Professional Cab from renowned Uco Valley producer - and fave of Jancis Robinson, MW - La Chamiza. The wine was aged in French oak barrels for six months. It's a dramatic, oak-shaded Cab showing blackberry, currants and juicy acidity. Pour with lamb burgers. (Vintages panel, Feb. 2018) |
