| Extremely deep intense purple colour. Attractive, intense, spicy, black cherry nose with some bright cedar notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, fairly dense, well structured, spicy, juicy ripe plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, high acid, gently cedary finish. This blend of 95% Malbec and 5% Petit Verdot has 13.5% alcohol and 3 g/L residual sugar with lot number L17B02 05/16/18 on the back label. | TASTING NOTE: The style of the 2016 Susana Balbo Signature Malbec shows the hand of the winemaker, with a little warmer fermentation and perhaps a little more extraction. However, in the cooler and wetter 2016, this feels as fresh and floral as the BenMarco Malbec, and it has a polished and balanced palate, with some fine-grained tannins and clean, pure flavors.
