TASTING NOTE: This is a very classy chardonnay - as bright as always but somehow just a bit more refined and perhaps lower in alcohol than the 2015 and earlier editions. Finely spicy, smoky and hazelnutty French oak is laid in amid peach, lemon and vaguely custardy/buttery notes. It is mid-weight, lively yet elegant with a spicy, nutty, slightly bitter finish. The length is very good to excellent. Score - 90 (David Lawrason, winealign.com, March 26, 2018) Price $ 24.95
