Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer THE FOREIGN AFFAIR
Bright, Medium straw colour, intense, spicy, baked, ripe lemon-apple nose with some mineral notes. Off dry, medium bodied, fairly complex, quite well structured, intense, ripe, lemon-apple-pear flavours with a lingering, tangy, somewhat nutty, fairly high acid finish. TONY ASPLER / 87-points - Spicy, earthy nose of apple and grapefruit; medium-bodied, short and blunt; off-dry, apple flavour with some bitterness on the finish. This REPEAT is made with 20% dried grapes in the Venetian appassimento method. Has 12.1% alcohol and 17 g/L residual sugar with a screwcap closure.
