Extremely deep intense purple colour. Attractive, intense, spicy, plummy, ripe black cherry puree nose with some cedary notes. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, quite well structured, harmonious, spicy, ripe plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, cedary finish. Has 14.5% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar with lot number L18016 on the back label. The recommended 2013 (**/**+) was released on September 30, 2017 at $24.95. TONY ASPLER / 89-points / BUY - Cedary, blackberry nose with evident oak notes; full-bodied, dry, fruity and firm with an engaging floral note. A well-balanced wine. |
