TASTING NOTE: If the fruit from Gualtallary provides the backbone here, then La Consulta adds some flesh and weight. Co-fermented with 10% Malbec and aged in concrete and old barrels, it shows a lovely interplay between graphite and green pepper flavours and polished tannins. Drink Date: 2017-2024. Score - 93 (Tim Atkin, MW, timatkin.com, Argentina Special Report 2017) Price $ 19.95
