Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer FINCAS LAS MORAS
The LCBO refused to allow the accredited wine reviewers to taste this March 30 release. Any item that is not presented is assigned NO star (-)and an interim 0-point proxy score until it is properly assessed. The 2014 appeared in Vintages (**/**+) on November 11, 2017 at $18.95 and was Recommended. Here is my previous note: Extremely deep intense purple colour. Spicy, faintly tinny, plum-apple-cherry nose with some cedary notes. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, quite well structured, spicy, fairly intense, dense, ripe plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, fairly high acid, gently cedary finish. Has 14% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar. Screwcap closure. CSPC 520486
