Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer BUNNAHABHAIN
Bright ambering gold colour. Intense, complex, slightly spicy, expansive, honeyed, plum purée nose with some caramel notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, well structured, harmonious, slightly honeyed, intense, wonderfully rich, caramel-plum purée flavours with a lingering, mouthfilling, ultra smooth finish. The “Small Batch” 18-year-old Islay is remarkably rounded and will appeal to any Islay-nay-sayers who may be sensitive to smokiness.
