| Bright, extremely pale straw colour. Very slightly spicy, attractive, fresh, ripe melon-apple puree nose with some mineral notes. Off dry, medium-light to light bodied, spicy, honeyed, ripe melon-apple puree flavours with a lingering, crisp, unoaked, mineral-tinged finish. This ready-to-drink, crowd-pleaser has 11.5% alcohol and 8 g/L residual sugar with lot number 30-07-18 on the lower part of the glass bottle. The Vintages Catalogue says that this Vintages Essential is from 2016 - we tasted the 2017. |
