TASTING NOTE: This wine is grown in the arid foothills of the mighty Andes mountains, where the plentiful daytime sunshine and dry soil is ideal for Cabernet Sauvignon. This is a bold, concentrated, structured wine showing complex notions of cassis, red currant, earth, coffee, mint and spice. One to savour over the next five or six years with chacareros chilenos (Chilean steak-and-green-bean sandwiches) or grilled beef-and-veggie skewers on cilantro rice.
