Extremely deep intense purple colour. Spicy, juicy, intense, slightly baked plum-cherry purée nose with lots of cedary notes. Dry, medium bodied, quite well structured, fairly spicy, juicy, ripe plum-cherry purée flavours with a lingering, fairly high acid, cedary, red licorice-tinged finish. Has 13.5% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar with lot number L26.12/18 on the back label. |

TASTING NOTE: Following up on their impressive showing in last year's report, the Falasco family's pan-Uco Valley blend includes fruit from all three departments. Perfumed, poised and refreshing, it's my kind of wine, with chalky nuances and a long finish. Drink Date: 2019-25. Score - 93 (Tim Atkin, MW, timatkin.com, Argentina Special Report 2018) |
