Here is my previous note: If you believe that a $14.95 recently bottled REPEAT Malbec from Argentina is actually worthy of 96-points, then stop reading now! Very deep intense purple colour. Slightly spicy, cedary, juicy, ripe cherry-plum nose with some faint herbal notes. Dry, medium bodied, tangy, slightly spicy, apple-plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, high acid, gently cedary finish. This ready-to-drink quaffer is a blend of 60% Malbec, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Petit Verdot that was aged in oak for 6 months. This REPEAT has 13.5% alcohol and 5 g/L residual sugar with NEW LOT NUMBER L2211/2017 on the back label. |
