Extremely deep intense purple colour. Complex, intense, slightly spicy, baked ripe plum-cherry puree nose with some sandalwood-cedar notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, dense, harmonious, tangy, intense, very slightly baked, ripe plum-cherry puree flavours with a lingering, bright, cedar-sandalwood-tinged, high acid finish. This blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Malbec comes from the Uco Valley’s oldest winery founded 22-years ago by François Lurton son of Bordeaux producer Andre Lurton. Last appeared in Vintages (***) on October 27, 2018 at $24.95 and was Recommended Best Buy. Has 15% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar with lot number L19-170-19-125 on the back label. CSPC 980334
