Extremely deep intense purple colour. Very slightly spicy, bright, intense, ripe plum-cherry cassis nose with a refined cedary notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, solid, well structured, dense, intense, ripe plum-cherry-cassis flavours with a lingering, high acid, mineral-tinged cedary, black cherry finish. This outstanding Wine of the Month has 14% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar with lot number L1915/LP on the back label. CSPC 10443

TASTING NOTE: This wonderful Malbec comes from a stony, limestone-influenced block and was fermented with 50% whole bunches in 2016 because of its riper stems. Grippy, saline and refreshing, with some white pepper spice, succulent berry fruit and a lovely bite of acidity. Drink date: 2020-28.
