This is one of 77 items (136 releases) not presented to taste under new LCBO policies. The 2016 (**/**+) was released on December 9, 2017 at $19.95. Here is my previous note: Bright medium deep straw colour. Very slightly spicy, rather cedary, baked ripe lemon-melon nose. Dry, medium bodied, slightly spicy, very tangy, ripe lemon-melon-apple flavours with a cedar-tinged, lingering, crisp finish. Ready-to-drink. Has 13.5% alcohol and 3 g/L residual sugar with lot number L17-208-301 on the back label. |

TASTING NOTE: This is a very dense chardonnay in the center palate with a brightness and minerality and dried apple and pear character. Hints of pie crust. Full body, focused with drive at the end. Drink now or hold. Score - 93 (James Suckling, jamessuckling.com, April 5, 2018) |
