FELINO MALBEC 2017 Mendoza
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer VIŅA COBOS)
This is one of 77 items (136 releases) not presented to taste under new LCBO policies. Any item not tasted is assigned an interim ZERO-STAR (-) rating and an interim 0-POINT proxy score until properly assessed. The recommended 2016 (**/**+) was released on August 18, 2018 at $19.95. Here is my previous note: Very deep intense purple colour. Very spicy, intense, plum-cherry nose with some cedary notes. Fairly dry, medium-full bodied, well structured, dense, spicy, slightly baked, faintly peppery, plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, fairly high acid, mineral-tinged, cedary finish. Has 14% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar. CSPC 118067
