UNÁNIME |
Extremely deep intense purple colour. Complex, intense, herbal, somewhat peppery, plum-black cherry nose with some cedary notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, dense, intense, firm, youthful, tight, plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, cedary, fairly high-acid, mocha-chocolate-tinged, somewhat tannic finish. This hefty blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Malbec and 15% Cabernet Franc has 14% alcohol and 5 g/L residual sugar with lot number L19140 on the back label. |

TASTING NOTE: I love the big nose of blueberries, licorice and violets, which draws you into this expansive, powerful red with plush tannins. A long, dry, spicy finish. Great value for money. A blend of 60% cabernet sauvignon, 25% malbec and 15% cabernet franc. Drink or hold. Score - 94 (James Suckling, jamessuckling.com, Jan. 22, 2019) |
