RESERVE CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2016 Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza |
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |
Producer |
PIATTELLI |
Extremely deep intense purple colour. Attractive, rather intense, complex, slightly spicy, maturing, ripe, plummy, black cherry nose with some sandalwood notes. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, harmonious, spicy, well structured, fairly dense, ripe, plum-cherry-cassis flavours with a lingering, fairly high acid, gently cedary, mocha-chocolate-tinged finish. Great value here! This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon has 14.5% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar with lot number L19061 on the back label. Has not appeared in Vintages before. |
