| This is one of 43 items out of 92 releases not presented for evaluation under new LCBO policies. A third REPEAT of the 2015 (*/*+) that was released on August 18, 2018 at $14.95. Deep intense purple colour. Herbal, somewhat peppery, leather, plum-apple nose. Dry, medium bodied, spicy, baked apple-plum flavours with a faintly bitter, somewhat peppery finish. This REPEAT has 13.8% alcohol and now 3 g/L residual sugar with the SAME lot number LTCB015 on the back label. It wasn’t very good last time and is even worse today! I would not rely on the old, ludicrously high, 93-point James Suckling score quoted in the Vintage Catalogue. |
