LIMESTONE BLOCK MALBEC 2015 Mendoza
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer TINTONEGRO
One of 52 items (49% of 106 releases) not presented for evaluation under new LCBO policies. Any item that is not presented is assigned NO star (-) and an interim 0-point proxy score until it is properly assessed. The 2012 last appeared in Vintages (*+/**) on November 28, 2015 at $19.95. Here is my previous note: Very deep intense purple colour. Intense, spicy, faintly herbal, dried ripe cherry-plum nose. Dry, medium bodied, somewhat peppery, herbal, spicy, dried plum flavours with a very crisp finish. Has 14% alcohol and 7 g/L residual sugar with a screwcap closure. Seems very different from what Robert Parker reviewed with 14.5% alcohol (as quoted in the Vintages Catalogue). CSPC 404137
