Extremely deep intense purple colour. Intense, complex, spicy, mocha-chocolate nose with lots of ripe plummy, black cherry fruit. Dry medium to medium-full bodied, well structured, rather spicy, gently cedary, mocha-chocolate-tinged, ripe plum-cherry flavours with some cassis notes on the lingering, fairly grippy finish. This fine Malbec has 13,5% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar with lot number L19273 on the back label. Has not appeared in Vintages before. TASTING NOTE: The 2017 Appellation Lunlunta Malbec is from a slightly riper year and has higher alcohol and a little less acidity. But the wine keeps its poise and harmony, showing very classical, perfumed and with volume. Power and elegance. Drink date: 2018-2023.
