This is one of 39 items out of 88 releases not presented for evaluation under new LCBO policies. Any item not tasted is assigned an interim ZERO-STAR (-) rating and an interim 0-POINT proxy score until properly assessed. The recommended 2016 (**/**+) was released on March 17, 2018 at $16.95. Here is my previous note: Bright medium straw colour. Somewhat shy, slightly spicy, faintly honeyed, ripe lemon-apple-melon nose with some very faint toasty notes. Dry, medium bodied, bright, slightly spicy, tangy, fresh, ripe apple-lemon-melon flavours with a crisp, toasty, high acid finish. Has 13% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with lot number L17-296-106 on the back label. Screwcap closure. |

TASTING NOTE: From one of the most popular producers of Argentine wine comes this delightfully unusual blend of Chardonnay and Viognier. Ripe apple and pear notes are joined by vivacious peachy tones and bright acidity, all in beautiful balance. This would be great with pork-belly tacos or grilled halibut.
