The 2015 last appeared in Vintages (**/**+) on March 2, 2019 at $18.95 and was Recommended. Very deep intense purple colour. Fairly intense, spicy, ripe, plummy- sandalwood nose with some cedary notes. Dry, medium bodied, slightly spicy, tangy, ripe plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, bright, gently cedary finish. Spent 12 months in French oak on the back label (but 14 months in French and American oak barrels on the winery tech sheet). Has 13.8% alcohol on the label (14.2% on the winery tech sheet) and 4 g/L residual sugar with lot number 102-00411972 on the back label. Screwcap closure. CSPC 128629

TASTING NOTE: Things are changing at Luigi Bosca under Pablo Cúneo, with less oak on the reds and more fruit concentration. This partially stainless steel fermented Cabernet comes from Luján de Cuyo and Maipú and is fresh and well balanced, with refreshing acidity and finely judged tannins. Drink date: 2020-2024.
