TASTING NOTE: Until 2014, Selección de Bodega was a blend of the best barrels from different vineyards. Alcohol levels hovered around 15.5º, and the oak predominated. But times change, and as of 2015, it comes solely from the most calcareous sectors of the Alluvia Vineyard in Gualtallary. This vintage - from a very cold year in Mendoza, Selección de Bodega is an arrow of mineral and fruity flavors, with a tension of granular tannins very characteristic of limestone soils. This is a refreshing wine that is also very dense and vertical. Score - 96 (Patricio Tapia, guiadescorchados.cl, 2019) |
