| Bright medium deep orange amber colour. Attractive, sweetish, spicy, brown-sugar-tinged, rummy-ripe-plum-preserve nose with some toffee-caramel-molasses notes. Smooth, medium to medium-full bodied, spicy, gently viscous, rich, rounded, spirity, ripe date-plum purée fruit flavours with a lingering, bright, gently grippy, caramel-creme-brulee-tinged finish. Has 40% alcohol with a gift box. TONY ASPLER / 93-points / BEST BUY - Deep amber in colour with orange highlights; spirity, vanilla oak and caramel nose; rich and full on the palate, spicy, raisin, date and brown sugar flavours; beautifully balanced and lingering, almost Cognac-like in its intensity and length, finishing on a burnt sugar note.
