TASTING NOTE: This year's Magna is 50% cabernet sauvignon, 40% malbec, and the rest is syrah, all primarily from Vistaflores and La Consulta. 30% of it was barrel-aged, which keeps the fruity side very much in the foreground, and it's not just any fruit - it's that fresh, lively, crisp fruit of the new Santa Julia wines, its juicy, refreshing reds. If you want to get to know them, start with this one. Score - 93 (guiadescorchados.cl, 2019) Price $ 15.95
Bottle Size 750 mL
Tasting Date vintages release - November 14, 2020
Cases bought 525 (12 bottles per case)
