TASTING NOTE: Made with 50% cabernet franc, 45% malbec, and the rest is casavecchia, this is a clear example of the generosity of Gualtallary's reds. In this case, the three varieties come from soils with a lot of gravel and limestone, which here offers an iron-like and tense tannic texture wrapped in delicious, nervy acidity. This is a big wine, but with lots of freshness and tension at the same time. Score - 94 (Patricio Tapia, guiadescorchados.cl, 2020) |
