| A REPEAT of the recommended best buy 2018 (**/**+) that was released on October 3, 2020 at $18.95. Assessed from a new bottle purchased at the LCBO with a new lot number L33520 on the back label. Who would have guessed that this newly-bottled batch from Monday November 30, 2020 would be better than the last shipment dated Thursday, May 14,2020. It has a very deep intense dark purple colour and an attractive, slightly spicy, gently juicy, ripe, plum-black-cherry purée nose with some blueberry-tinged, sandalwood-cedar notes. Dry, medium bodied, well structured, intense, fairly rich, ripe plum-cherry-blueberry flavours with a lingering, harmonious, gently cedary, fairly high acid finish. Ready-to-drink - excellent value. This reliable 100% Malbec has 14.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar. |

| TASTING NOTE: One of the fundamental references when talking about wines with very good value for money ... this is from a selection of vineyards in Vistalba and Las Compuertas, both in the traditional Luján de Cuyo zone. Here we have the zone's ripe and friendly fruit, the nutty tones and sweet spices nuanced by redder and more refreshing fruits and particularly juicy acidity and a very smooth, easy-to-drink texture.
