BARRANCAS TOSO 2018 Mendoza
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer PASCUAL TOSO
This very pleasant Mendoza blend of approximently 60% Malbec and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon has an extremely deep intense purple colour. It’s sightly spicy on the nose with ripe plum-cherry purée fruit and some cedary-sandalwood notes.. Dry, medium bodied, nicely structured, fairly intense, slightly spicy, ripe plum-cherry flavours with a lingering, faintly cedary, bright, earth-tinged finish. Quite ready to drink, it as 13.5% alcohol and 2 g/L residual sugar with a recent lot number LC-111116 on the back label. The recommended 2016 (**/**+) was released on October 27, 2018 at $17.95.
