| TASTING NOTE: For this Gran Malbec, Domaine Bousquet gets the grapes from two blocks of its vineyard in Gualtallary - among the first in the zone - planted in 1998. This year it also includes 10% merlot and a few drops of syrah. Here the malbec has all the exuberance that Gualtallary commands and imposes with fresh fruits, herbal notes, and a touch of spices, while the palate has a firm, tense texture.
