TASTING NOTE: For their Gran Malbec, RJ Viñedos selects grapes from the departments of Tupungato and Tunuyán in the Uco Valley. Following the house style, this is succulent and ripe with tame, round, and juicy tannins and a bit of herbs. With nine months of aging in barrels (half the volume only), there are also spicy touches. A fluid and voluminous wine with no rough edges. Score - 92 (Patricio Tapia, guiadescorchados.cl, 2021) |
