Bright pale straw colour. Intense, slightly spicy, gently complex, intense, ripe, lemon-apple meringue nose with some very faintly tropical, cedary notes. Dry, medium bodied, very well structured, tangy, spicy, ripe, lemon-apple meringue flavours with a lingering, crisp, gently cedary, mineral-tinged, harmonious, pear purée finish. Quite delicious and ready-to-drink. Has 13.5% alcohol and now 2 g/L residual sugar with a brand new lot number L22192 on the back label. This is the 27th release of this reliable best buy Chardonnay in Vintages since December 6, 2003. It is whole cluster pressed; fermented, sur lies, in barrels and stainless steel with wild yeasts. Aged 6 to 8 months in French oak with 40% not undergoing malolactic fermentation. CSPC 918805
