LAUGHING STOCK |
NEW in Vintages. For discerning palates, this outstanding Okanagan Valley take on Condrieu (the highly sought-after Rhone 100% Viognier classic) hits the mark. Bright medium straw colour, the nose shows lots of complexity and excellent ripe apricot-peach-pear fruit with slightly spicy, floral, honeysuckle, elegantly toasty, minerally notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, very well structured, spicy, intense, ripe, fresh apricot preserves with a lingering, rich, lifted toasty, tangerine-inspired finish. The grapes were whole cluster pressed and fermented in 69% neutral French oak and 31% concrete eggs and all aged sur lie for 6 months. It has 14.1% alcohol and 1 g/L residual sugar with lot number L230510 on the lower part of the glass bottle. Only 20 cases are available in Flagship stores. |
