LAUGHING STOCK VIOGNIER 2022 BC VQA Okanagan Valley
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note Producer LAUGHING STOCK
NEW in Vintages. For discerning palates, this outstanding Okanagan Valley take on Condrieu (the highly sought-after Rhone 100% Viognier classic) hits the mark. Bright medium straw colour, the nose shows lots of complexity and excellent ripe apricot-peach-pear fruit with slightly spicy, floral, honeysuckle, elegantly toasty, minerally notes. Dry, medium-full bodied, very well structured, spicy, intense, ripe, fresh apricot preserves with a lingering, rich, lifted toasty, tangerine-inspired finish. The grapes were whole cluster pressed and fermented in 69% neutral French oak and 31% concrete eggs and all
aged sur lie for 6 months. It has 14.1% alcohol and 1 g/L residual sugar with lot number L230510 on the lower part of the glass bottle. Only 20 cases are available in Flagship stores.
