This blend of 52% Merlot, 37% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit Verdot has a very deep intense purple colour. Complex, intense, spicy, stewed cherry nose with some earthy notes. Dry, well structured, medium-full bodied, solid, plummy, dried cherry flavours with a lingering, slightly earthy finish. The 1998 and 2000 have both been released twice in the past - in three instances under different CSPC numbers. |
