Domaine de Pré Baron |
This somewhat distinctive 100% Sauvignon Blanc has a very light yellow colour. Very ripe, slightly honeyed, yellow grapefruit peel nose. Just off-dry, honeyed, very spicy, ripe lemon-melon-yellow grapefruit flavours with nice structure and a long lingering finish. May not be for everyone - but I liked it. Ready to drink. |

The grapes for this Sauvignon Blanc were grown on a single vineyard outside the town of Oisly, an area considered one of the finest for growing Savvy. Fresh and fruity, this is a classic Loire Sauvignon that would be an ideal match for pan-fried freshwater fish. |
