Depending on the vintage, Château Reynon's prime wine usually contains 82% Merlot, 13% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit Verdot. Made by Bordeaux legend, Denis Dubourdieu, the 2004 displays aromas of blackcurrant, elderberry, raspberry and pipe tobacco. Dry, medium-bodied and well-balanced, this wine is just beginning to enter its fine drinking phase. Try it tonight with rare roast beef, or cellar it 2+ years. |
