CHÂTEAU LANGOA BARTON 2004 AC St. Julien, 3ième Cru |
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |
Producer |

Very deep intense purple colour. Complex albeit still rather shy, baked plum and dried red cherry nose with some vanilla stick notes. Dry, medium to medium-full bodied, fairly extracty, dried plum, mocha and slightly bitter, stewed red cherry flavours with a very slightly earthy finish. Bigger/better than the 2002 released July 27, 2007 at $57.95. Still a bit closed - it is likely to evolve to *** status. |

TASTING NOTE: Very pretty and perfumed, with plum, vanilla and chocolate aromas. Full-bodied, with silky tannins and a long, caressing finish. Best after 2011. Score - 91. (James Suckling, www.winespectator.com, March 31, 2007) |
