This blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot has a very deep intense purple red colour. Very fine, complex, cedar tinged, plummy lime purée and cedar nose. Dry, well structured, medium to medium-full bodied, harmonious, plummy, ripe red and black cherry flavours with a lingering , slightly cedary finish. |

This is the second wine of Château Lynch- Moussas. The estate cultivates nearly 60 ha of vineyards, including some that neighbour the vineyards of Châteaux Batailley and Grand-Puy- Lacoste. The vines are planted to 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot. The 2003 is a fullbodied, concentrated wine with plenty of ripe cassis and black plum fruit, stony minerality and chewy tannins. |
