| This sweet liqueur is based on fresh almonds (as opposed to flavourings) along with various spices such as vanilla. It has a deep tawny amber colour and an intense, sweet, honeyed, caramel-vanilla nose with marzipan almond notes. Sweet, medium bodied, smooth, spicy, honeyed, vanilla-almond-caramel flavours with a finish. finish. Luxardo Amaretto can be served neat, on the rocks, in coffee, in international cocktails. It is also very good with over vanilla ice-cream and with the Italian "panna cotta" dessert. This tasty General List liqueur is now available in some 380 stores. |
