NIPOZZANO RISERVA CHIANTI RUFINA 2011 DOCG |
Vintage Assessments Tasting Note |
Producer |
Marchesi de Frescobaldi |
Available on the General List. Deep bright violet red colour. Very slightly spicy, dried ripe plum nose with some gentle sandalwood notes. Dry, medium bodied, slightly spicy, tangy, still youthful, plum-cherry-blueberry flavours with a lingering, fresh, bright finish. Should improve with another 6-12 months of aging. Has 13% alcohol. The current average price in the US is $28 CND and at the SAQ it is $23.95. The 91-point review received from James Suckling is inconsistent to what I tasted. |
