La Quemada’s owners set out less than a decade ago to craft premium Tequilas, made from only 100% blue agave. They now boldly claim to be the best tequila in the world after winning Gold, Silver and Bronze medals at the 2005 San Francisco World Spirit Competition. For such a new and modern distillery, they respect many of the traditional tequila methods, including fermenting in wooden tanks instead of stainless steel. Enjoy this Añejo as you would a fine cognac or armagnac. |
