Bushmills’ ‘Three Wood’ is a unique Irish Single Malt in that it is matured in three different types of casks: Oloroso Sherry butt, Bourbon barrel and finished in Port pipes. Bushmills believes that each barrel adds layers of complexity to their whiskey. Perhaps they’re correct, for this product won a gold medal at the 1997 International Wine and Spirit Competition in London, England. |
